Indianapolis Event & Race-Day Transportation

The Indianapolis calendar is built around the Speedway, the Convention Center, and two pro arenas. We run every event the way a pit crew runs a stop -- planned, timed, and staged around the closures.

Indianapolis event and race-day transportation from Limo Service Indianapolis moves groups of any size around the city's biggest days -- the Indy 500, Gen Con, Colts and Pacers games -- with vehicles staged outside the closure rings and a run plan timed to each event's arrival and exit windows. Fleet runs from executive sedans to 56-passenger motorcoaches.

Race-day staging beats curbside every time

On Indy 500 race day the gate you want is inside a closed ring. Georgetown Road closes south of 25th Street at 5:00 AM and 16th Street closes from about noon, and the Speedway lots are not released until the pedestrian crowd clears -- up to an hour after the checkered flag. Our dispatch stages at a fixed rally point outside the closure ring, times the drop so the walk-in is manageable, and holds a meet point for the exit that is not buried in the post-race release.

The full race-day playbook -- what closes, when, and how we time it -- is in our Indianapolis Motor Speedway guide and the Indy 500 race-day transport guide.

Conventions, games, and everything downtown

Downtown Indianapolis is dense on event weekends. The Indiana Convention Center connects under one roof to Lucas Oil Stadium and a record twelve hotels, and Gen Con alone pours 70,000-plus attendees into the core. We size Sprinters and coaches to your room block, target the closest open entrance to your hall, and stage early at peak arrival so a group is never dispatched into the rush.

For game days we use stadium- and arena-adjacent meet points -- Lucas Oil Stadium for the Colts, Gainbridge Fieldhouse for the Pacers and Fever -- that clear faster than the curb outside the gates.

Size the vehicle before you book

The most common event-transport mistake is sizing to the seat count on the spec sheet instead of a comfortable, luggage-aware load. Our free Indy Event Transport Planner takes your event and headcount and returns the right vehicle -- including multi-vehicle splits for large groups -- plus a full run plan with the closures for that event built in.

Frequently asked questions

QHow do you handle the Indy 500 road closures?

We plan every race-day run around the Georgetown Road closure (south of 25th Street from 5 AM) and the 16th Street closure (from about noon), stage at a fixed rally point outside the closure ring, and hold a meet point for the post-race exit, which can be delayed up to an hour after the race.

QWhat size groups can you move for an event?

From one rider in a sedan to 50-plus in a motorcoach, and larger with coordinated multiple vehicles. Our free planner sizes the right vehicle for your headcount, including multi-vehicle splits for big groups.

QHow far in advance should I book for Race Weekend?

As early as possible -- Indy 500 vehicles routinely sell out months ahead, and the operators who actually plan around the closures book first. For weddings and peak conventions like Gen Con, reserve once your dates are confirmed.

QWhich Indianapolis events do you serve?

Indy 500 and IMS race weekends, conventions at the Indiana Convention Center including Gen Con, Colts games at Lucas Oil Stadium, Pacers and Fever games at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, plus weddings, corporate events, and nights out.
